Grand Rapids-based Professional Courier Services Names New Vice President

Professional Courier Services (PCS) of downtown Grand Rapids, MI has named Sam Butler as their new Vice President. In his role, Butler will be responsible for executive leadership, high-level final-mile and warehousing sales expansion, and operational management for PCS. 

“With our steady growth over the last two years, we quickly identified the need to expand our leadership team from a position of sales and operational support in late 2022. Sam comes to us with extensive knowledge of the freight industry and has already added significant value on our sales team and in our final mile division”, said Douglas Kessler, President of PCS. “We are very fortunate to have a professional like Sam. Butler is a graduate of Grand Valley State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management. His career background has consisted of hotel management within multiple management companies located in West Michigan. Most recently, Sam worked for Nolan Transportation Group, a large scale freight brokerage based in Atlanta, working in their satellite office in Grand Rapids. Sam quickly excelled to a senior carrier sales representative for NTG and grew his book of business across all equipment and service needs, including FTL, final-mile, drayage, warehousing, and storage for the brokerage.
